Inventory
As the name suggests, the Inventory Management System allows you to keep track of inventory items. It maintains sales and cost of goods and assists in maintaining proper inventory levels to lower investment and improve customer satisfaction. Through its interface to the Order Entry System, it ensures that items are billed accurately with proper taxes and discounts being applied. Features include:

A detailed master file is maintained for each item. Information such as supplier, item number, description, pricing, current stock and re-order levels are maintained

Several factors are maintained automatically such as date last sold, received and ordered, period to date, year to date, cost of goods and margins and are also available at all times for quick visual verification of gross profit on each item

Information may be accessed through the list box and find buttons based on several fields such as supplier, item number, SKU, description, product grouping or even bin location. This capability includes a generic search function which allows information to be accessed based on all or part of the field's location.

A variety of pricing schemes are available with up to six different pricing options. Prices may be based on one selling price, various pricing levels (up to five different prices for the same item) or defined based on four pricing tables.

'Alternate' item number capability allowing you to use your own internal item numbers for lookups but scan a bar code for selling/receiving.

Maintains an optional field for your vendor's item number - if specified, the vendor's number is used automatically for Purchase Orders generated by Results!.

Special sale pricing is provided with date sensitive sale prices so that they can be prepared and verified anytime in advance

Regular items can be linked to each other on a substitute basis to prevent lost sales

Chaining items such as bottle deposits

A series of indicators is maintained for each item to specify prices, taxes, discounts, serial numbers, backorder availability and product category

Sales history may be printed on each item to assist management in determining selling trends

A series of programs is included for printing count sheets for counting stock, entering stock counts, isolating discrepancies and bringing on hand quantities in line with actual stock levels. These programs provide invaluable system implementation for establishing current stock trends

Serial and lot number tracking provides warranty and sales follow up by automatically recording  the sale in order to display and report the information

Serial number may be displayed when received as well as sold
