Head Office/Branch
The Head Office/Branch option was designed for businesses with centrally controlled multiple locations. Franchises and other types of stores with multiple locations exchange information such as sales reports, on a daily basis. The Head Office/branch option in Results! facilitates this daily information exchange by submitting the information electronically from the branches to the head office.

There are two main components to the option:

Head Office System
The Head Office System is the program that sits on the computer(s) at the head office which coordinates activities for all of the locations under it. There are several functions this system provides. Let's say the head office controls what items are carried in each of the locations. When new items are added to your organization's inventory, files are downloaded to each of the branches from the head office, updating their inventories. The system also manages orders placed by each branch, which are uploaded to the head office's purchasing department where items can be ordered for the entire organization based on demand provided by each branch. The entire Head Office/Branch option can be customized give as little or as much power to the branches depending upon your specific needs.

Branch System
The Branch component of the system is the software run in each of the branches under the control of the head office. Working with Results! Basic System, which includes all necessary retail software requirements, the Branch system processes the information downloads from the head office and updates the branch computer with all necessary information. As well, the Branch system creates purchase orders based on stock levels, which are uploaded to the head office for purchasing. Having worked in retail myself, I know the time involved and the frustration of creating daily sales reports and faxing them off to head office. With Results! Branch component, sales reports are generated right from the POS system and electronically uploaded to head office, eliminating the possibility of human mathematical errors and decreasing employee time filling out daily sales reports.
